The mission of KMF's Hello Tours is to visit schools and encourage the student body and staff with motivational speech, performance, and other visual aid. The Hello Tour's motto is Person Passion Person. Every Person has a Passion, every Passion has a Purpose, every Purpose has a Person.

Play It Forward Holiday Instrument Drive & Fundraiser 2020

The Kilgore Music Foundation kicked off its annual instrument drive. Your donated instruments will benefit NEW and existing music programs in the local community.

2018 Official KMF Instrument Drive

April 24, 2018 officially kicked off our year long instrument drive!

If you know of anyone that has played an instrument in the past and has put it down for whatever reason we would like to collect those instruments and place them into a new young musician’s hands to help bring up the next generation of musicians.

This campaign will benefit two specific programs:
Chapel Hill Middle School in Decatur, Ga
Pittman Recreational Center in Atlanta, Ga

Kids thrive when given the chance to learn and play music. Putting an instrument into their hands improves not only the quality of their education, but their lives.

💓 KMF's 7 Days of Love Campaign! 💓

Kilgore Music Foundation joined forces with the efforts of the 7 Days of Love initiative to share love through music in the form of music therapy and benevolence! Our challenge is for all creative people to step outside our comfort zones and use our creative gifts to do something special for those that are forgotten. In an effort to share love through music this Valentine’s season, our very own celebrity saxophonist Ryan Kilgore will visit several local community organizations and host several events to include:

Our Karaoke For a Cause events benefit the many efforts of our foundation to support the needs of the community in the forms of inspiration, education and music healing.

KMF Instrument Drive

As we know there is a growing problem with lack of participation in our music and art programs around the country due to lack of instruments. KMF’s goal is to round up as many instruments from our existing communities to help replenish our schools and community centers. One of the best ways to do that is to create opportunities for the local communities to give back.
Imagine, all of the instruments that are currently sitting in garages, attics, under beds, pawn shops and maybe even used as furniture, being given back in the form of instrument drives in order to give music and art programs a new chance at genuine growth.
The impact will be transforming!

Kilgore Konnects

Kilgore Konnects is a locally operated mentoring network designed to connect active musicians with emerging, young musicians and create KMF clusters in local areas. Kilgore Konnects implement workshops designed to encourage and prepare active musicians to serve as mentors to emerging, young musicians.
